High School Middle School Speech Language Pathologist in Carpentersville, IL

Job Description

This contract opportunity covers elementary, middle, and high school levels, offering a dynamic experience working with diverse groups of students. Key Qualifications:
Active Illinois State License (IDFPR)
ISBE PEL
with Speech-Language Pathology endorsement Open to first-year SLPs (CFY), with mentorship available Previous experience in school settings or with K-12 caseloads is a plus Strong collaboration and communication skills Commitment to fostering student growth and success
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive speech and language services to students across elementary, middle, and high school settings Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and monitor student progress Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student needs and advocate for best outcomes Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with school and state requirements Engage in professional development activities and remain current with best practices in the field
