Job Description

Commercial Carpenter Overview We're looking for experienced professionals to join our team and work on a variety of exciting commercial construction projects—from interior fit-outs and tenant improvements to full ground-up builds. You will perform steel stud framing, drywall installation, interior door and hardware installation, flooring, and general carpentry tasks, while also supporting basic demolition and light plumbing and electrical work as needed. The position requires strong blueprint reading skills, a commitment to job site safety, and the ability to maintain a clean, organized work area. Responsibilities Installing steel stud framing for walls, partitions, and structures Hanging, finishing, and repairing drywall to high-quality standards Installing interior doors, frames, and hardware with precision Assisting with flooring installation, including layout and finishing Performing rough and finish carpentry, including trim work Supporting demo work safely and efficiently Assisting with light plumbing and electrical tasks alongside licensed trades Reading and interpreting blueprints and construction drawings Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized job site Collaborating with teammates and other trades to keep projects on track Essential Skills 5+ years of carpentry experience (with at least 2 years in commercial construction preferred) Strong experience in steel stud framing and drywall installation Ability to read blueprints and construction documents Experience with interior build-outs and tenant improvements Knowledge of doors, frames, and hardware installation Solid understanding of job site safety practices Skilled with hand and power tools Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Bonus Qualifications OSHA 10 Certification CPR / First Aid Certification Experience with lifts or job site equipment NCCER Certification Experience with multiple flooring systems Exposure to various construction trades beyond carpentry Why Work Here?

This is a hands-on, physically active role that requires lifting, climbing, bending, and working at heights when needed. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
