We specialize in residential renovations and are looking for someone with strong hands-on remodeling experience who can confidently take charge of projects and maintain a high standard of craftsmanship. The Lead Carpenter will work directly with a remodeling helper and be responsible for completing projects efficiently, accurately, and professionally. Responsibilities Take the lead on residential remodeling projects from start to finish Plan and execute daily job-site tasks Work alongside and direct a remodeling helper Layout, assemble, and install kitchen and bathroom cabinetry Build and install custom shower pans Complete framing and structural modifications Perform detailed trim carpentry and finish work Read and follow project plans, measurements, and layouts Troubleshoot problems and make sound decisions on the job Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site Ensure work meets company quality standards Qualifications Approximately 7+ years of residential remodeling experience Strong background in multiple areas of residential construction Proficient with cabinet layouts and installation Experienced with custom shower pans Strong framing skills Excellent trim carpentry and finish work skills Able to independently manage day-to-day job-site responsibilities Comfortable leading and working alongside a helper Reliable transportation and professional-grade tools Strong work ethic, communication skills, and attention to detail What We Offer $35-$40 per hour , based on experience Full-time, steady local work Projects throughout the Northwest Suburbs Opportunity for long-term growth with an established remodeling company Opportunity to earn profit sharing bonuses!
