Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks, including remodeling, drywall installation, and construction painting. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to perform heavy lifting, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship on construction sites. Duties Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. Perform remodeling tasks including framing, drywall installation, and finishing work. Execute concrete forming for foundations and other structures as needed. Conduct construction painting to enhance the aesthetic appeal of completed projects. Handle water damage restoration tasks to repair and restore affected areas. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project completion. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience as a Carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by various carpentry tasks. Experience with drywall installation and finishing techniques. Familiarity with electrical work is a plus but not mandatory. Knowledge of maintenance person skills for general repairs and maintenance tasks is desirable. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
