Carpenter Overview Join our team as a Carpenter where you will work directly with the owner on new build residential trim projects. This role involves executing basic finish carpentry and trim work in the Rockford area, within a 25-mile radius. Every day brings a new challenge as you move from job to job, some lasting 2-3 days. Your tasks will include cutting and hanging trim, as well as maintaining a clean work area. This physically demanding role requires the ability to stand, walk, and use ladders throughout the day. Responsibilities Perform finish carpentry and trim work on new residential builds. Drive to various job sites within a 25-mile radius of Rockford. Cut and hang trim accurately and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Utilize ladders and other equipment safely throughout the day. Essential Skills At least one year of basic construction experience. Ability to read a tape measure and lift up to 50 lbs. Physical capability to perform demanding tasks. Willingness to learn and operate saws and other tools. Possess a basic tool set including a utility knife, tape measure, and screwdriver set. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with finish carpentry or trim work.
