Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic facilities maintenance team as a Maintenance Carpenter, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of our retail environment. This energetic position involves performing skilled carpentry, drywall finishing, painting, and general maintenance tasks across our facilities. Your expertise will help maintain a high standard of operational excellence, supporting both the physical infrastructure and customer experience. Responsibilities Perform skilled carpentry work including painting, drywall installation, door and window repairs, and cabinetry. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to complete maintenance tasks accurately. Manage facilities maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and equipment history. Supervise or assist with projects requiring leadership or supervising experience, ensuring safety standards are met. Maintain a clean, safe work environment through proper use of tools and adherence to safety protocols. Support manufacturing or retail operations by performing routine inspections and emergency repairs as needed. Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal requests promptly and professionally. Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments. Skilled in general carpentry , and reading schematics; familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus. Ability to operate tools such as ohmmeters, power drills, saws, and other carpentry equipment safely. Experience with CMMS software for maintenance management is preferred. Strong supervisory or leadership skills with previous supervising experience highly desirable. Knowledge of painting techniques and general handyman skills beneficial. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork collaboration. Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and mechanical diagrams accurately. Pay:
$28.00 - $34.00 per hour
