Stability…one door at a time. Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our multifamily property maintenance team. The Carpenter will perform a variety of carpentry tasks, including building, installing, repairing, and replacing interior and exterior features throughout our apartment communities. The ideal candidate has strong craftsmanship skills and experience working in an occupied residential environment. This role provides an opportunity for career growth within RAM and is designed for employees looking to advance their expertise in property maintenance. Key Responsibilities Construct, install, and repair cabinets, doors, trim, windows, shelving, fences, decks, stairs, and framing elements. Repair and replace damaged drywall, baseboards, crown molding, and other finish carpentry elements. Assist in unit turns by ensuring doors, cabinets, and trim are properly functioning and aesthetically pleasing. Perform structural repairs and upgrades as needed for property preservation and improvement. Accurately measure and cut materials to specification. Ensure all work meets safety codes and quality standards. Maintain organized workspaces and tools. Work collaboratively with maintenance, renovation, and property management teams. Minimum of 3 years of carpentry experience in residential, commercial, or multifamily settings. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Proficient with power tools, hand tools, and measuring equipment. Skilled in finish carpentry, cabinetry, framing, and basic drywall repair. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical work on ladders and in tight spaces. Strong communication skills and commitment to quality workmanship.
