Job Description

Lead Renovation Technician Position Overview We are looking for an experienced, dependable Lead Technician to help oversee and complete renovations projects. This position requires a strong hands-on construction background, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality workmanship. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded residential renovation professional who can take a project from demolition and repair through final finish work. Key Responsibilities Complete and oversee apartment renovation and turn projects. Perform drywall repairs, patching, mudding, sanding, and finishing. Interior painting, including walls, ceilings, doors, trim, cabinets, and other surfaces. Perform finish carpentry, including baseboards, casing, doors, trim, and other finish work. Install and repair kitchen cabinets. Install and repair countertops. Install LVP flooring, including layout, cutting, transitions, and finish work. Perform light plumbing repairs and fixture replacements. Perform light electrical work, including replacing outlets, switches, GFCIs, light fixtures, and covers. Complete punch-list items and ensure units are move-in ready. Identify materials needed and communicate material requirements. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Inspect completed work to ensure it meets company quality standards. Help coordinate other contractors and technicians when necessary. Communicate project progress, issues, and material needs to owner. Take ownership of assigned projects and ensure work is completed on schedule Required Experience. Candidates should have demonstrated hands-on experience in several or all of the following: Drywall repair and finishing Interior painting Finish carpentry Cabinet installation Countertop installation LVP flooring installation Light plumbing Light electrical Apartment or residential renovations General construction/maintenance Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of residential construction, remodeling, apartment maintenance, or renovation experience. Previous lead technician, foreman, or crew-lead experience. Reliable transportation. Valid driver's license. Own basic hand tools. Strong understanding of construction safety and proper tool usage. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and doesn't need to be constantly supervised. If you can walk into an apartment, identify what needs to be done, develop a plan, complete quality work, and communicate when you need help or materials, this could be a great opportunity. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who knows how to get the job done right.
Pay:
$15.00 - $36.00 per hour
