Job Description
K2 Construction - Valparaiso, Indiana Full-Time | Starting at $25/hour - Higher Pay Based on Experience K2 Construction is looking for a dependable, motivated skilled carpenter/construction professional who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a busy, established construction company. This is not just a general labor position. We are looking for someone with construction experience who can work independently, solve problems, and help move projects forward. Our work includes residential construction, remodeling, insurance restoration, and a variety of unique projects throughout Northwest Indiana. If you enjoy seeing a project come together and want a position where your skills are actually valued, we want to talk to you. What You'll Be Doing Rough and finish carpentry Framing, trim, doors, cabinetry, and general construction Remodeling and renovation work Installation and repair work Reading measurements and working from plans/instructions Operating common hand and power tools Working alongside other skilled trades Helping coordinate and complete day-to-day jobsite tasks Keeping jobsites clean, organized, and professional Taking ownership of your work and getting things done correctly What We're Looking For Previous construction or carpentry experience Ability to work independently without constant supervision Strong knowledge of basic construction methods and tools Dependable and punctual Good problem-solving skills Attention to detail and pride in workmanship Ability to communicate well with coworkers, subcontractors, and customers Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to perform the physical requirements of construction work Why K2 Construction?
