Carpenter Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter to join our team. This position involves residential carpentry work including deck construction, porch building, door and window installation, framing, repairs, and general exterior carpentry. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced with common carpentry tools and materials, and able to work independently or as part of a team to deliver high-quality workmanship.

Duties:

- Build and repair residential decks using treated lumber or composite materials Construct covered and screened-in porches Install doors and windows with proper fit and weather sealing Perform siding repairs and exterior carpentry work Install fencing including post setting and panel installation Repair damaged flooring and structural components Perform framing for decks, porches, and other structures Measure, cut, and assemble materials using hand and power tools Maintain a clean and safe job site

Requirements:

Carpentry or construction experience preferred Ability to use common carpentry tools and read measurements Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Ability to lift materials and work in outdoor environments Reliable transportation to job sites is a must
