Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of carpentry and construction, possess a strong knowledge of metal roofing systems, and the ability to work collaboratively on projects that require precision and attention to detail. This role involves working on diverse tasks, including assembly, restoration, and installation, contributing to the successful completion of projects in both residential and commercial settings. Responsibilities Assist in the restoration industry by assembling and restoring structures or components to their original condition. Fabricate custom pieces as needed, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship throughout the process. Install doors, windows, roofing, siding, and other fixtures with precision and care. Apply joint compound and other finishing materials to achieve desired aesthetics and functionality. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining safety standards. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues as necessary. Requirements Proven experience in carpentry or related fields is preferred. (Min of 2 years) Knowledge of the restoration industry is beneficial for this role. Ability to learn novel pieces of machinery and quickly become proficient with their application. Experience with troubleshooting prior installations of mentioned components. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality workmanship. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. Reliable transportation and Active Drivers' License.
