Elliot Company, Inc. (Elliot). Elliot is a full-service electrical contractor specializing in overhead and underground distribution, transmission, substations, lighting, traffic signaling, utility locating and industrial/commercial services. Job Description We are seeking skilled Concrete Finishers / Form Setters / Concrete Carpenters to join our construction team. This position involves forming, placing, finishing, and repairing concrete on commercial and/or residential projects. Candidates should have hands-on experience, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality and safety. As part of the day-to-day responsibilities, you will be completing the following: Build, set, and strip concrete forms (wood, metal, or system forms) Place, spread, vibrate, and finish concrete to specified grade and finish Perform finishing techniques including screeding, floating, troweling, edging, and broom finishes Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and specifications Install embeds, anchor bolts, sleeves, and block-outs Repair surface defects, patching, and finishing touch-ups Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean job site Follow safety procedures and OSHA regulations Work closely with foremen and crew members to meet production schedules Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in concrete finishing and/or formwork Strong knowledge of concrete tools, materials, and finishing methods Ability to read basic construction drawings and elevations Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors Class A CDL is preferred but not required to hire (required within 6 months) Valid driver's license Own your own hand tools Must be able to learn from On-the-Job training and work well with others Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screening Benefits/Culture Today, we are listed among Engineering News-Records Top 150 Specialty Contracting firms.
