AM Pay Frequency:
Weekly, every Friday Rodman Construction is hiring an experienced Crew Manager / Lead Carpenter to manage a small crew completing high-end residential remodeling, additions, framing, and deck projects. We are looking for someone who has strong hands-on construction experience, can lead a team, and takes pride in completing quality work. Main Responsibilities Manage a small residential remodeling crew Keep team members on task throughout each project Hold crew members accountable for quality, attendance, and productivity Help complete framing, deck installations, remodeling, and additions Make sure jobs are completed properly and efficiently Communicate job progress and issues with management Help organize materials and tools on job sites Maintain a professional attitude with homeowners and team members Follow company systems, processes, and quality standards Experience Required Applicants must have: At least 4+ years of construction experience Strong framing experience Deck installation experience Experience remodeling or rebuilding decks Understanding of the full deck installation process Residential remodeling experience Experience leading or managing other construction workers Ability to hold team members accountable Strong communication skills A great attitude and willingness to lead by example Framing and decking experience are mandatory for this position. Vehicle Requirement You must have a reliable: Truck, or Van Your vehicle must be able to transport construction materials when needed. Fuel is supplied by Rodman Construction. Tools are also supplied by Rodman Construction.
Pay Starting pay is:
$32 per hour There will be an opportunity for a pay increase after 90 days based on performance, leadership, reliability, and ability to successfully manage the crew. One of the goals during the first 90 days will be to help identify and replace a team member when needed while maintaining the performance of the crew.
Schedule Normal schedule:
Monday-Friday Start Time:
8:00 AM During busy seasons, shifts are typically: 8-10 hours per day Saturdays are optional when additional work is available. Some parts of the year may include half-day schedules. Winter is typically slower for approximately 3-4 weeks .
Training We provide:
On-the-job training Video training Training on company systems Clear expectations for crew management Training on company processes and standards We are looking for someone who already understands construction. Training will focus on how Rodman Construction operates and how we expect our crews to be managed. Interview Information Interviews are being scheduled for Saturday afternoon between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM .
Pay:
$32.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 50.0 per week
