Full-time About the Role We're looking for an experienced carpenter to join our team in Lafayette, LA. You'll handle a mix of residential and light commercial projects, so we need someone versatile who can take on a variety of tasks and produce quality, dependable work. Responsibilities Install flooring, including hardwood, laminate, vinyl plank Hang, tape, finish, and repair sheetrock Perform roofing repairs and installations Complete light plumbing installs and repairs (fixtures, faucets, toilets, supply lines, etc.) Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and project specs Measure, cut, and fit materials accurately Maintain a clean, safe job site and keep tools and equipment in good condition Communicate project progress and any issues to supervisors Requirements Proven carpentry experience, with hands-on work in flooring, sheetrock, roofing, and light plumbing Own hand tools and reliable transportation to job site Ability to work at heights, lift 50+ lbs, and work in Louisiana heat Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a crew Valid driver's license Must pass a background check and drug screen Preferred Experience with remodel/repair work Additional trade skills such as framing, trim, or painting Ability to work with minimal supervision #insj
