Job Description
Job Overview TanMar Rentals is seeking an experienced and motivated Mobile Home Carpentry Refurbishment Shop Manager to oversee daily shop operations, lead multiple carpentry crews, and ensure all mobile homes and rental units are repaired, remodeled, and prepared to company standards. This position requires strong leadership, organization, communication, and hands-on carpentry knowledge. The ideal candidate will have experience managing crews, coordinating schedules, maintaining productivity, and overseeing remodeling and repair projects in a fast-paced environment. Employee must always adhere to all company safety policies and customer safety requirements. Duties & Responsibilities Provide daily leadership and direction to multiple carpentry refurbishment crews. Conduct morning safety and production meetings. Coordinate and manage employee schedules, workloads, payroll time, and project timelines. Oversee mobile home repairs, remodeling, maintenance, and refurbishments. Track refurbishment progress and ensure units are completed on schedule. Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met. Maintain shop organization, inventory, and materials management. Order supplies and materials as needed while monitoring costs. Maintain work orders, project tracking logs, and shop documentation. Utilize Microsoft Excel and company systems for tracking projects, inventory, and scheduling. Work closely with upper management and cross-functional departments to ensure operational goals are met. Ensure all HSE policies, procedures, and compliance requirements are followed. Perform additional duties as assigned by upper management. Requirements 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience managing carpentry construction crews. Proficient computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Understanding of carpentry, plumbing, flooring, painting, drywall, roofing, electrical and general maintenance. Ability to pass a background check, drug/alcohol screening, and physical screening. Preferred Experience Mobile home or remodeling experience. Knowledge of inventory tracking and purchasing processes. Bilingual in Spanish and English. Benefits 401(k) Plan
