In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and finishing interior and exterior trim elements in residential homes. Your expertise will contribute to creating aesthetically pleasing, functional spaces that meet high standards of craftsmanship. Responsibilities Measure, cut, assemble, and install interior and exterior trim components such as baseboards, crown molding, door casings, window trims, wainscoting, and custom woodwork. Operate hand tools and power tools for woodworking safely and efficiently to ensure precise craftsmanship. Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines. Assist with related tasks such as framing, drywall installation, masonry work, or restoration projects when needed. Experience Proven experience in residential carpentry with a focus on trim carpentry or finishing work. Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings. Hands-on experience with woodworking machines, metal stud framing, concrete forming, plastering, siding installation, cabinetry, door hanging, flooring installation, and fixture installation. Familiarity with construction site safety protocols including power tool safety practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for construction projects. Prior experience in restoration industry work such as water damage remediation or mold remediation is a plus. Knowledge of construction materials including wood construction materials and rebar installation enhances versatility on diverse projects.
