We're growing our field team and looking for a skilled, versatile carpenter who wants to be part of something local and hands-on. The Role You'll be a key member of our field team, supporting a portfolio of 15+ properties across the Boston area.

This is a field-first job:

roughly 90% of your time will be on-site, and no two days look the same. We need someone who can walk into an unfamiliar situation, figure out what's going on, and fix it. What You'll Do Perform carpentry and general construction and repair work across our properties Troubleshoot and resolve issues across multiple trades, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and more Diagnose problems on the spot and decide what you can fix and what needs a specialist Work in occupied buildings and treat tenants with respect, patience, and good communication Update job status and communicate with the team using our work order and mobile tools What We're Looking For Carpentry and construction experience, plus working knowledge across multiple trades and disciplines A proven troubleshooter who stays calm and curious when the problem isn't obvious Comfort with technology (work order apps, texting photos, updating tickets) A great attitude and a team-first mindset Willingness to be tenant-forward when the situation calls for it Eagerness to learn new skills and take on new challenges Reliable transportation and your own basic hand tools Local to the Boston area Nice to Have Relevant licenses or certifications (e.g., CS, HIC, or trade-specific licenses) Experience in development, renovation, or property work Compensation & Terms 1099 independent contractor position

Pay:

$28

•38 per hour, based on experience

Schedule:
