We operate within a structured, process-driven workplace culture that emphasizes professionalism, communication, craftsmanship, and steady growth. Our projects range from kitchen and bathroom remodels to basements, decks, commercial interiors, and specialty renovation work. Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable Finish Carpenter to work directly under our Lead Foreman. This is an excellent opportunity for a tradesperson with strong attention to detail who takes pride in high-quality, precise finish work within a disciplined, fast-paced construction environment. Our main office is based out of Boston Seaport; however, this position is preferably live in or near Narragansett, RI, with regular travel to projects across Massachusetts and Rhode Island—including Cape Cod, the Islands, Central MA, and occasionally New York City for specific assignments. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with occasional Saturday work depending on project needs. Key Responsibilities Perform finish carpentry work including installation of interior/exterior trim, baseboards, casing, crown molding, and door and window hardware. Hang and fit interior doors, and install cabinetry, built-ins, and custom millwork. Install stair parts, railings, and balusters. Caulk, fill, sand, and prep finish surfaces for paint or stain to a high-quality standard. Complete punch list and close-out work, ensuring finish details meet company quality standards. Assist the Lead Foreman with day-to-day tasks on job sites. Support general labor and carpentry tasks as needed, including demolition, drywall support, flooring prep, and job site cleanup. Help prepare, load, transport, and stage materials, tools, and equipment. Support job site setup, layout, and workflow preparation. Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area. Read and understand construction drawings, scopes of work, work orders, and finish carpentry details/shop drawings. Work within company structure and follow direction from senior team members, APMs, PMs, and construction supervisors. Uphold company standards of professionalism, conduct, communication, and workmanship, with particular attention to detail on finish-level work. Qualifications 2-5+ years of experience in finish carpentry, residential remodeling, or construction required. Proven experience with trim, doors, cabinetry, and millwork installation. Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision, quality finish work. Positive attitude, reliable work ethic, and strong communication skills. Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver materials and tools regularly. Proficiency with finish carpentry tools (miter saw, nail gun, level, etc.) and general construction terminology/job site operations. Reliable transportation required. Own tools required. Ability to travel throughout MA, RI, and occasionally NYC. What We're Looking For Someone dependable, punctual, and skilled, with a genuine eye for detail. A team player who respects structure, follows direction, and contributes to a professional environment. A tradesperson who takes pride in clean, precise finish work and is committed to maintaining a high standard on every project.
