• Responsibilities Actively practice safety standards More in-depth knowledge of tools & construction terminology & materials Read & understand plans Basic knowledge of flashing, windows & doors, gable returns, deck ledgers, interior trim Ability to use a skill saw Know how to set up staging Cutting bevels Install headers Make a layout Interested in furthering knowledge & skill set Journeyman Carpenter•Responsibilities Reading & interpreting building plans Must be able to complete work abiding by national, state, & local codes, including safety regulations Constructing & installing wooden structures including but not limited to framework, stairways, rafters, doors, windows, trim, railings, & built-ins Must be able to accurately measure & cut materials appropriately Collaborate with team members to ensure that the project is running smoothly Ability to notify Construction Superintendent, Foreman, & Project Manager of any issues that may arise Foreman•Responsibilities Coordinating daily tasks according to priorities & plans, making changes when necessary due to weather, supply, delivery, & personnel Delegating individual responsibilities & projects to crew members & contractors Managing & mentoring employees & contractors Providing adequate resources to meet project schedules, laws, regulations, best practices, & safety needs Emphasizing safe use of tools, machinery & equipment while providing training on safety gear, helmets, & procedures Reading & interpreting building plans Must be able to complete work abiding by national, state, & local codes, including safety regulations Constructing & installing wooden structures including but not limited to framework, stairways, rafters, doors, windows, trim, railings, & built-ins Must be able to accurately measure & cut materials appropriately Collaborate with team members to ensure that the project is running smoothly Ability to notify Project Manager of any issues that may arise

Requirements:

Prior Experience:

Foreman:

5 plus years

Journeyman:

2-4 years A valid Driver\'s License & reliable transportation Capable of working long hours in harsh weather conditions

OSHA Foreman:

OSHA10, OSHA30.

&

Construction Supervisor License Journeyman:

OSHA 10

Journeyman & Foreman Candidates:

Own a full set of tools Excellent written & verbal communication skills Good math & problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail Work independently without much instruction

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift, carry, push, & pull 80 pounds Physically fit & able to perform various tasks that include standing, climbing, lifting, walking, reaching, crawling, etc. Active Filters Carpenters
