Carpenter Journeymen and Foreman

Job Description:

Journeyman Carpenter. Minimum 2 + years experience with frame to finish carpentry. Ability to layout walls, Windows and Doors for framing, roof rafters and Stringers. Framing to MassBldg Code standards. Ability to follow direction of the Foreman or superviosr. Ability to install Windows and Doors and Sliders, ​ installation of exterior trim, interior trim, interior doors, flooring, kitchen and bath Cabinetry. Tile experience is a plus. Available Full time Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays for overtime. Must have valid driver's license and basic tool setup as a Journeyman Carpenter. Starting pay $28 to $38 an hour and up based on verifiable experience work history.

FOREMAN Carpenter:

position entails all of the above as a Journeyman Carpenter. Knowledge of Massachusetts Building Codes and Energy Codes. Ability to do framing layout. Frame walls. Windows and Doors. Headers etc. Ability to calculate rafters and Stringers and install per architectural design plans. Ability for installation of windows, Doors and Sliders, exterior trim. Interior trim and Doors, Kitchen and Bath Cabinetry. ​ Flooring installation, hardwood or engineered laminate. Tile experience a plus. Ability to run and supervise a crew of 2 or more and execute daily tasks, product quality assurance, time tracking, material takeoff and materials needed daily or weekly for project. Foreman experience required is 5 years plus with proven track record for high quality results. Foreman salary starts at ​​$43 hourly to $52 hourly. Paid time off, 5 sick days, 7 paid holidays, 1 week vaca after first year, health and dental available. 401k available.
