Part-Time Carpenter Pascoe Workforce Solutions - 3.5 Holyoke, MA Job Details Part-time | Contract $35 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Journeyman License Renovation construction projects Building finishing Drywall installation Attention to detail Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Carpenter for a temporary project-based opportunity in Holyoke, MA through the end of December. This position will support ongoing office renovations, building repairs, and facilities improvement projects. The ideal candidate will have strong general carpentry experience and be comfortable working independently on a variety of renovation and repair projects. Responsibilities Complete carpentry work related to office renovations and building improvements Assist with finishing an office expansion project Install, repair, and adjust doors and related hardware Construct, repair, and modify walls, floors, ceilings, shelving, and other building components Perform finish and general carpentry work Assist with drywall, flooring, and related renovation projects Read and interpret basic layouts, plans, and blueprints Use and maintain hand and power tools safely Inspect completed work and make necessary repairs or adjustments Maintain a clean and safe work area Assist with additional facilities and carpentry projects as needed Qualifications Journeyman's license required At least 3 years of carpentry experience Experience with commercial, facilities, renovation, or finish carpentry strongly preferred Knowledge of door installation, drywall, flooring, and general building repairs Ability to read basic plans, layouts, or blueprints Comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools Strong attention to detail and workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Dependable attendance and strong communication skills This is a great opportunity for an experienced carpenter looking for consistent part-time project work at a competitive hourly rate.
