About the Role We're seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter / Construction Foreman who takes pride in quality work and leads by example. This is a hands-on role ideal for a skilled deck builder or residential carpenter ready to manage projects and small crews. Our work includes custom decks, porches, and frame-to-finish interior remodeling projects such as bathrooms, kitchens, and home renovations. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across both interior and exterior settings with a focus on craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Lead and perform all phases of deck building, framing, and finish carpentry Manage frame-to-finish interior remodels (bathrooms, kitchens, etc.) Supervise and mentor carpenters and apprentices Plan and coordinate daily work, materials, and site layout Communicate clearly with project managers, clients, and suppliers Maintain a safe, clean, and organized jobsite Ensure all work meets code and EJS quality standards Work outdoors in all weather conditions Requirements Minimum 5 years of full-time residential carpentry experience Some lead or foreman experience managing small crews Strong knowledge of framing, finish work, and construction methods Ability to read blueprints and execute plans accurately Excellent communication and leadership skills Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Dependable, professional, and committed to top-quality work Benefits Raises based on proven performance Steady work with a growing, reputable company 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off A professional, team-oriented environment built on respect, craftsmanship, and integrity If you're an experienced carpenter who takes pride in every detail — from framing to fine finish work — and want to lead exceptional projects with a company that values quality and service, apply today.
