Lead Carpenter / Project Manager (High-End Residential)

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter/Project Manager to independently manage high-end residential renovation projects from inception through completion on Cape Cod. In this role, you will combine expert carpentry skills with strong project management capabilities to deliver exceptional craftsmanship and client satisfaction. You will ensure that projects are executed efficiently and safely, to the highest standards of quality, while maintaining clear communication with clients, subcontractors, and team members. Duties Actively perform hands-on carpentry work daily. Run projects from start to finish while working alongside your crew. Manage and direct crew members to maintain productivity, quality, and efficiency Perform layouts, execute detailed finish work, and ensure all work meets high-end standards Read and interpret plans and apply them in the field. Coordinate daily job site activities while staying actively involved in the work Communicate with management regarding progress, challenges, and job needs Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site Ensure projects stay on schedule while maintaining quality craftsmanship Requirements 7-10+ years hands-on carpentry experience. Proven experience leading a crew and running projects independently. Strong background in high-end residential renovations preferred. Expert-level finish carpentry and attention to detail. Ability to read plans, perform layouts, and problem-solve in the field. Strong communication and leadership skills. Reliable, organized, and takes pride in their work. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Own basic carpentry tools.
