Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Form Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing formwork used to shape concrete structures on various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that concrete forms are accurately built to specifications, safe, and durable, contributing to the successful completion of commercial, residential, and renovation projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team on diverse projects that challenge your craftsmanship and technical skills. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine formwork requirements and measurements. Construct and assemble formwork using hand tools, power tools, metal studs, and framing techniques for concrete structures. Install rebar reinforcement within forms to ensure structural integrity of concrete elements. Operate heavy equipment such as concrete mixers, pumps, and cranes safely and efficiently on-site. Perform concrete pouring, finishing, caulking, and sealing to achieve smooth surfaces and proper curing. Execute masonry tasks including stucco application, tile laying, and restoration work as needed. Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of tasks while maintaining safety standards. Experience Proven experience in construction environments with a focus on form carpentry or related trades such as framing or masonry. Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to read detailed blueprints and schematics. Hands-on experience with rebar installation, concrete forming, finishing techniques, and heavy equipment operation. Familiarity with various hand tools, power tools, scaffolding setup, and safety protocols on construction sites. Knowledge of diverse materials including metal studs, stucco, tile, flooring materials, and roofing components. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining precision in measurements and assembly. Prior experience in renovation projects or commercial building sites is highly desirable.
