Job Description
Log Home Rescue is growing and we're looking for a skilled Carpenter to join our team specializing in log home repair and restoration. Log cabin owners across New England are investing in protecting their homes, and demand for high-quality craftsmanship continues to rise. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and wants to be part of a company known for doing things the right way. What You'll Do Perform log repair and replacement , including removing and installing damaged logs Execute rot repair, structural repairs, and restoration carpentry Maintain clean and organized job sites Travel to job sites throughout New England No two projects are the same every home presents a new challenge and opportunity to showcase your craftsmanship. Experience with Log Homes is not necessary but a plus. We will train the right person in all aspects of the log intricacies. What We're Looking For 3+ years of carpentry experience (log home experience is a plus) Strong understanding of tools, materials, and job site safety Ability to perform detailed, precision work Reliable and hardworking self starter that is able to work independently Takes pride in quality craftsmanship and a job well done Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass a background check and drug test Willingness to work 40+ hours per week , including Saturdays when needed Bonus Skills (not required): Experience with log homes or timber framing Chainsaw and specialty tool experience Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay (based on experience & skill level) Full-time, steady work Why Join Log Home Rescue?
