Job Description
Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finish Carpenter / Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise finishing work and installing a variety of fixtures, cabinetry, trim, and custom elements across residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life, ensuring every detail meets high standards of quality and craftsmanship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your skills and expand your experience in the restoration, remodeling, and construction industries. Duties Measure, cut, assemble, and install trim, cabinetry, doors, windows, and other finish carpentry components with accuracy and attention to detail Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation of fixtures and custom elements Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks such as caulking, plastering, framing, and rebar installation Perform surface preparation including sanding, painting, staining, or sealing to achieve a polished final appearance Install siding, stucco finishes, roofing components, flooring, tile work, and other exterior or interior finishes as required Collaborate with team members on heavy lifting tasks and coordinate with other trades such as plumbing or electrical crews for seamless project execution Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites Experience Proven experience in finish carpentry or installation roles within the construction or restoration industries Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., saws, chisels), power tools (e.g., drills, sanders), and CNC machinery for fabrication tasks Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical specifications Familiarity with various construction disciplines including framing (metal stud or wood), masonry, roofing, drywall installation (including plastering), flooring (tile or wood), and fixture mounting Experience working on construction sites with safety compliance awareness; ability to lift heavy materials regularly Background in water damage restoration or mold remediation is a plus but not required Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex installations Background check will be required to get pass for military base access!
