Job Summary Mt. Tabor Builders is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. This position will work closely with the Project Manager and building team to construct, install, repair, and maintain structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, wallboard, laminate, and other building materials. The Carpenter may assist with framing, partitions, door and window frames, stairs, rafters, flooring, siding, cabinets, insulation, and other construction projects. The ideal candidate has hands-on carpentry experience, understands standard construction methods, and is comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and measurement equipment. Duties and Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, sketches, and project specifications. Measure, cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials. Install doors, window frames, staircases, framing, flooring, siding, cabinets, insulation, and other structures or fixtures. Build, assemble, and repair structures using raw materials or pre-constructed components. Inspect completed work and perform repairs or maintenance as needed. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow Mt. Tabor Builders' safety policies and jobsite safety requirements. Work collaboratively with the Project Manager, team members, subcontractors, and other trades as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Minimum of 2 years of professional carpentry experience preferred. Strong working knowledge of carpentry techniques, construction methods, and installation practices. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measurement tools safely and accurately. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical plans preferred. Good physical condition, stamina, dexterity, and ability to perform hands-on construction work. Ability to lift, carry, bend, kneel, climb, and stand for extended periods. Valid driver's license required. Reliable transportation to job sites required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Pay:
$18.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits:
