Job Description
Job Summary Join our construction company as a Carpenter Helper and play a role in supporting skilled carpenter to complete building projects. This position offers hands-on experience in various aspects of construction, including framing, drywall, painting, repairs and ceiling installs. As a Carpenter Helper, you will assist with the installation of building materials, operate power tools and hand tools safely, and ensure that all work aligns with project plans and safety protocols. This paid position is perfect for individuals eager to develop their construction skills and grow within the industry. Duties Assist carpenters with framing, drywall, painting, and ceiling install to ensure precise and efficient work. Support the setup and operation of equipment and power tools while adhering to safety guidelines. Prepare construction sites by measuring, cutting, and handling building materials such as wood/metal lumber, drywall, ceiling, and painting components. Aid in the installation of flooring, plastering, caulking, stucco finishes, and masonry work to meet project specifications. Prior construction experience or background in building construction is preferred but not required; eagerness to learn is essential. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment operatio Ability to follow detailed instructions while maintaining high safety standard Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, lift heavy materials, and perform manual labor for extended periods.
