Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Carpenter/Laborer and play a vital role in constructing, renovating, and restoring a wide variety of projects. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your carpentry skills and hands-on labor to bring architectural visions to life. Whether you're framing structures, installing fixtures, or performing restoration work, you'll be an essential part of delivering high-quality results efficiently and safely. This paid position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their craft and contribute to impactful projects across the construction and restoration industries. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project plans. Perform framing, trim carpentry, siding, roofing, drywall installation, and door hanging with precision. Operate hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, assemble, and install various building components. Assist with concrete forming, masonry work, rebar installation, and water damage restoration tasks as needed. Fabricate custom woodwork or metal fixtures using woodworking skills or CNC machinery when applicable. Conduct heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks such as moving materials or equipment across job sites. Support remodeling projects by installing flooring, tiles, cabinetry, fixtures, and performing general carpentry repairs. Qualifications Proven experience in construction site environments with knowledge of construction estimating and blueprint reading. Skilled in various carpentry disciplines including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, metal stud framing, and drywall installation. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding safety procedures, and schematics interpretation. Experience in restoration industry tasks such as mold remediation, water damage restoration, plastering, stucco application, and roofing. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of construction work. Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, masonry techniques, tile laying, flooring installation or fixture installation is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions and work collaboratively on team projects.
