Technician

- Responsible for managing daily maintenance operations
- Ensure location/surrounding area of building are safe, functional and well-presented
- Collaborate with Facilities Manager/Maintenance Staff to fulfill service requests, maintain facility operations, safety compliance, etc
- Manage the work order system and coordinate with other maintenance staff to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently
- Complete all assigned maintenance service requests in a timely and thorough manner
- Perform general building maintenance, including basic carpentry, drywall repair, painting, plumbing, HVAC support, and minor electrical work such as outlets, switches, and light fixtures
- Carry and respond to a company-issued cell phone as required to address maintenance needs and emergencies
- Maintain inventory controls to support cost-effective maintenance operations and ensure necessary supplies and parts are available
- Complete payroll timesheets accurately and submit them to the Facilities Manager as required
- Maintain a professional and courteous manner when interacting with vendors, contractors, and fellow employees
- Follow and promote safety standards that comply with company, local, city, and federal guidelines
- Ensure all work-related activities comply with policies and procedures in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner
- Ad to established company policies and procedures, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook
- Safely perform physical tasks that may include lifting 50-100 pounds and working from ladders when needed.
