Job Description

Overview We are seeking an experienced carpenter with a strong background in construction and carpentry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience, possess a comprehensive skill set in various aspects of building, remodeling, and restoration projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing advanced techniques and tools to deliver high-quality craftsmanship. Candidates should have extensive site experience and the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics, ensuring precise execution of tasks across multiple construction disciplines. The candidate should be a team player with a positive attitude, self starter and have excellent communication skills. We offer 6 paid holidays, Paid time off and up to 3% match into Simple IRA. Duties Perform framing, trim carpentry, finish work, layout of walls, rafters and stairs and woodworking tasks with precision and efficiency Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide project execution Install fixtures, doors, windows, siding - vinyl, shingles, clapboard, etc, drywall, roofing - asphalt and metal and cabinetry according to specifications Operate hand tools, power tools and fabrication equipment safely and effectively Conduct flooring installation, tile laying, and remodeling work Assist with heavy lifting tasks and perform demolition or site preparation activities Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry best practices Experience A minimum of 5 years experience in carpentry including trim carpentry, framing, cabinetry installation, door hanging, and fixture installation Familiarity with the use of hand tools and power tools Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety protocols and site-specific procedures Industry experience in restoration or remodeling projects is highly desirable Excel in framing and renovations to include siding installation, window installation, decks, kitchen and bath renovations, door installation, etc. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods Strong understanding of construction materials This position requires a dedicated professional capable of managing multiple facets of construction projects with skillful craftsmanship. Candidates must demonstrate a solid track record in various construction disciplines to ensure successful project completion. Candidate must be a team player, detail oriented, high quality workmanship and excellent communication skills
