Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Carpenter / Laborer and become a vital part of transforming spaces through skilled craftsmanship and dedicated labor. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from framing and trim carpentry to restoration and remodeling. Responsibilities Assist in framing, drywall installation, and structural repairs using hand tools and power tools Perform trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, and fixture mounting with precision Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate project execution Prepare and install siding, stucco, roofing, and masonry components according to specifications Conduct concrete forming, rebar installation, flooring, tile laying, and metal stud framing tasks Support restoration projects including water damage remediation, mold removal, plastering, and general renovation work Operate heavy machinery for lifting and fabrication tasks while adhering to safety protocols Assist with plumbing, electrical work, drywall finishing, caulking, painting, and other finishing trades as needed Maintain a clean and organized worksite by properly handling tools and disposing of debris Follow all safety guidelines to ensure a secure environment for yourself and team members Skills Proficiency with hand tools (hammers, saws, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws, grinders) Knowledge of various carpentry techniques including trim carpentry, framing, metal stud framing, and cabinet installation Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper posture and technique Familiarity with construction estimating processes and project planning fundamentals Skills in fabrication using CNC machinery or other manufacturing tools are a plus Experience in restoration industry projects such as water damage restoration or mold remediation is advantageous Strong understanding of building codes related to siding, roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical systems & more Ability to operate scaffolding or ladders safely at heights during roofing or siding work Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new skills in the construction industry Join us if you're ready to build your career in construction!
