Job Description
Overview We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Lead to spearhead our construction projects, ensuring excellence in execution and adherence to safety standards. This pivotal role involves overseeing diverse aspects of construction, from metal building erection to intricate finishing work, while leading a team of skilled tradespeople. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude, exceptional management skills, and a passion for delivering top-quality results on every project. Duties Lead and coordinate all phases of construction projects, including metal building erection, concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding, and restoration efforts. Interpret and implement detailed construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure precise execution. Supervise and assist with rebar installation, concrete finishing, framing carpentry, trim carpentry, and drywall work to meet project specifications. Operate or oversee the operation of heavy equipment and power tools safely and efficiently on-site. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards while managing project timelines and budgets. Conduct dimensional measurements using tape measures and other hand tools to verify accuracy of framing, metal stud framing, and other structural components. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials such as metal siding, stucco, roofing materials, and other building components. Experience Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in metal building erection, concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding, and remodeling projects. Extensive hands-on experience with rebar installation, concrete finishing techniques, plastering, framing carpentry (including woodworking), and trim carpentry. Skilled in interpreting technical drawings such as schematics and blueprints; proficiency in reading construction plans is essential. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation including cranes, forklifts, or excavators is preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple trades simultaneously while maintaining safety standards and quality control. Strong knowledge of construction site safety protocols along with the ability to train team members on proper procedures. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on precision measurements using tape measures and other tools for dimensional accuracy.
