Framing Carpenter Westbrook, ME | $27 - $36/hr Position Overview Aerotek is seeking a skilled and motivated Framing Carpenter to join our growing team in Westbrook, Maine. This role is responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structural frameworks in residential and/or commercial projects. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and experience working efficiently on active job sites. Key Responsibilities Build and install wood framing for walls, floors, roofs, and ceilings Interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications accurately Measure, cut, and assemble materials using hand tools and power tools Ensure all framing is level, plumb, and square Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other trades to meet timelines Maintain a safe and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards Load/unload materials and maintain tools and equipment Assist with general carpentry duties as needed on construction sites Qualifications 2+ years of framing or carpentry experience preferred (entry-level candidates with strong work ethic may be considered) Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings Proficiency with hand tools and power tools Strong understanding of construction processes and safety practices Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in varying weather conditions Reliable transportation to job sites in and around the Westbrook area Strong teamwork and communication skills Preferred Qualifications OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification Experience in commercial framing Valid driver's license Compensation & Benefits Opportunities for overtime Health benefits (if applicable) Paid time off and holidays Career advancement and skill development opportunities Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Westbrook, ME.
