This position is ideal for someone with experience in residential remodeling and finish work who takes pride in producing clean, professional results.
Compensation:
$70,000
Responsibilities:
Perform residential interior carpentry, remodeling, repair, and finish work according to project plans and company standards. Install baseboard, casing, crown molding, paneling, shelving, and other interior trim. Install interior doors, jambs, hardware, and related finish components. Install and modify kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, countertops, and built-in features. Complete tile installation for floors, backsplashes, showers, tub surrounds, and other finished surfaces. Install hardwood, laminate, luxury vinyl plank, and other flooring materials when required. Complete light framing for walls, soffits, openings, closets, and remodeling modifications. Perform drywall repairs, patching, surface preparation, and minor finishing work. Complete finish carpentry, punch-list work, and detailed final adjustments. Accurately measure, cut, assemble, and install materials. Protect finished surfaces, furnishings, and occupied areas throughout construction. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other crew members to keep projects on schedule. Communicate professionally with homeowners and represent Birch Craft Construction in a positive manner.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in residential carpentry, interior remodeling, or finish construction. Strong experience in at least one of the following areas: Interior trim and finish carpentry, Cabinet and vanity installation, Tile installation, Interior door installation, Flooring installation, Light framing, Drywall repair and finishing, Built-ins, shelving, or custom woodwork Experience in multiple interior carpentry and remodeling areas is strongly preferred. Ability to read measurements, plans, drawings, and basic construction details. Strong understanding of proper installation methods and finish-quality standards. Ability to produce accurate cuts, tight joints, level installations, and clean finished work. Ability to troubleshoot existing conditions and develop practical repair solutions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to complete work efficiently with limited supervision. Ability to safely lift and carry construction materials and equipment. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Dependable attendance, strong work ethic, and professional communication skills.
