Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter with fine finishing experience to join a construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise finishing work that enhances the aesthetic and functional quality of retail store projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in carpentry, woodworking, and restoration, with a focus on delivering high-quality craftsmanship. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the successful completion of projects, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to safety standards. Duties Perform detailed interior finishing tasks, including trim carpentry, door hanging, and fixture installation. Interpret construction plans and technical drawings to accurately execute finishing details. Use hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines to shape, assemble, and install various wood construction materials. Conduct plastering, stucco application, caulking, and rebar installation to achieve seamless finishes. Engage in remodeling and restoration projects by applying carpentry skills such as metal stud framing and drywall finishing. Safely operate power tools for woodworking while adhering to all safety protocols related to power tool use. Assist with heavy lifting and assembly tasks on construction sites to ensure efficient workflow. Collaborate with team members to interpret technical drawings and ensure precise execution of construction plans. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety standards are consistently met. Support site supervision by inspecting completed work for quality control and making necessary adjustments. Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, framing, trim carpentry, and residential carpentry. Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, materials, and machinery used in fine finishing. Familiarity with construction site safety practices related to power tools and heavy lifting. Experience with plastering, stucco application, rebar installation, door hanging, fixture installation, and caulking. Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans accurately. Previous experience in restoration industry projects or remodeling is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining precision in finishing tasks. Excellent hand tool proficiency along with knowledge of power tools for woodworking. Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in dynamic environments.
