Driver's License Construction plans Construction drawing review Commercial construction Clean workspace maintenance Full Job Description Experienced Carpenter - Exterior Cladding & Facade Farmington Hills, MI | Full-Time | $30-$35/hr DOE About the Role NLCC is hiring skilled carpenters with exterior cladding experience for commercial projects in the Metro Detroit area. You'll work alongside an experienced crew doing high-quality facade work — no babysitting, just solid tradework. Responsibilities Install framing, sheathing, and exterior cladding systems (panel, fiber cement, metal, etc.) Read and interpret construction and shop drawings Work efficiently with minimal supervision Maintain quality standards and a clean, safe work site Requirements 5+ years of carpentry experience Exterior cladding or facade work experience required Ability to read construction drawings OSHA 10 (or willingness to obtain) Valid driver's license Reliable and professional — foreman is on site, not hand-holding Nice to Have Experience with ACM panels, rainscreen systems, or fiber cement OSHA 30 What We Offer $30-$35/hr based on experience Steady, full-time work on commercial projects Work with a skilled, no-drama crew
