Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing the framework of buildings and structures, ensuring accuracy and quality in every project. This role requires proficiency in framing carpentry, reading construction plans, and working safely on construction sites. The Framer will collaborate with other trades and contribute to the successful completion of residential or commercial projects. Responsibilities Construct building frameworks according to blueprints and construction plans Measure and cut materials accurately using tape measures and basic math skills Assemble, install, and secure structural components such as walls, floors, roofs, and partitions Interpret construction plans to determine specifications and dimensions Work efficiently on construction sites, adhering to safety protocols and project timelines Collaborate with other team members to ensure quality standards are met throughout the framing process Maintain tools and equipment in good condition for optimal performance Qualifications Proven experience in frame carpentry and working on construction sites Proficiency with tape measures and basic math calculations required for precise measurements Ability to read and interpret construction plans effectively Strong understanding of framing techniques and building codes Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding manual labor in various weather conditions Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards Prior experience with construction projects is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates willing to learn
