About Us:
Deluxe Communities is growing fast—and we're on the lookout for a skilled Remodel Technician to join our team. If you're a hands-on professional who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, enjoys variety in your day, and thrives in a team environment, we want to hear from you. In this role, you'll be responsible for a wide range of home repair and renovation tasks, including mainly carpentry and home renovation work. Your work will contribute to the overall value of the properties we manage.
What You'll Be Doing:
Perform home remodeling and repair tasks including carpentry and general remodeling work Create material lists and proactively submit them to your supervisor Accurately diagnose issues and complete repairs, not just installations—knowing where and how to fix the root of a problem Follow proper project sequencing (e.g., mud drywall before painting, remove fixtures before painting, clean surfaces before caulking or painting) Manage time effectively by planning workflows based on drying/curing times and multi-trade coordination Collaborate with team members, contractors, and property managers to complete projects Meet with contractors and vendors as needed Maintain an organized work van and communicate inventory needs in advance Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail Deliver excellent customer service to residents and maintain a clean, respectful job site
What We're Looking For:
Strong, general knowledge of residential remodeling and repair Hands-on experience with trade knowledge Ability to troubleshoot and make smart repair decisions (not just surface fixes) Solid communication skills and a team-first mentality Physically capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs High attention to detail and strong time management Trustworthy and dependable, capable of working independently Clean background check required Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Why Join Deluxe Communities? $26.00 - $39.00 per hour Expected hours: 38.0 - 52.0 per week
