In this role, you will be instrumental in executing a wide range of building projects, from metal structures to concrete and masonry work. Your expertise will help ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your technical skills and hands-on experience to bring complex plans to life. Duties Erect metal/wood buildings and frameworks according to detailed blueprints and schematics, ensuring precise measurements and alignment. Operate power tools, heavy equipment, and hand tools safely while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Read construction plans accurately, interpret technical drawings, and perform dimensional measurements using tape measures and other tools. Collaborate with team members on framing, metal stud framing, drywall installation, and other carpentry tasks requiring precision and craftsmanship. Lift heavy materials safely while following proper techniques; assist with site cleanup and material handling as needed. Follow safety protocols diligently during all phases of construction work; communicate effectively with team members regarding project progress or issues. Qualifications Proven experience in metal building erection, concrete forming, masonry, or related construction fields. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and heavy equipment operation. Familiarity with construction management principles and site safety procedures. Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately; experience with framing carpentry, trim carpentry, drywall installation, and plastering is preferred. Knowledge of rebar installation techniques and concrete finishing processes. Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical instructions. Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality assurance.
