Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Finish Carpenter / Installer to join Miller Building and Restorations. In this role, you will be responsible for completing high-quality finish carpentry work and installing various fixtures and components on residential, and restoration projects. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life, ensuring precision, durability, and aesthetic appeal. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that require attention to detail, craftsmanship, and a proactive approach. Duties Measure, cut, assemble, and install trim, cabinetry, doors, windows, and other finish carpentry elements with accuracy and care Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure proper installation of fixtures and structures Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete carpentry tasks on-site Perform framing work including metal stud framing and wood framing as needed for various projects Conduct restoration work such general building repairs Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet deadlines and quality standards Skills Minimum 1 year experience in finish carpentry including trim work, cabinet installation, door hanging, and fixture setup knowledge of construction principles Proficiency with hand tools (saws, chisels, hammers) and power tools (drills, saws, sanders) Experience with framing carpentry—metal stud framing and wood framing techniques Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and heavy lifting procedures Ability to perform concrete forming, masonry tasks, rebar installation, and roofing work when required Knowledge of the restoration industry including water damage restoration and mold remediation processes (preferred but not required) Skilled in working with schematics for electrical or plumbing installations as needed (preferred not required) Capable of working independently or as part of a team in fast-paced construction environments Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged standing during installation tasks (safety protocols will be implemented to prevent workplace injury, and bodily strain) Join us to build exceptional spaces where craftsmanship meets innovation!
