This role is required to manage, direct, supervise and perform maintenance services within the marina. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage, direct, supervise and perform maintenance services for the marina and associated facilitiesSupervise Facilities Assistance (Maintenance) employees and sub-contractorsResponsible for interior and exterior maintenance, dock, boatyard and associated asset repairs, and grounds keepingPerform all general repair and maintenance related to the marinaPerforms maintenance service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, and cleaningMaintain landscaping as requiredDeveloping and maintaining effective, friendly, professional working relationships with staff, members, guests and vendorsAvailability to work overtime when requiredOther duties as assigned by Manager Technical and Physical Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred2-5 years marina experience preferredAbility to work safely around the waterAbility to lift 50 poundsBasic boat handling skills preferredKnowledge of dock construction and repair preferredKnowledge of basic power tools preferredAbility to work in all weather conditionsAny skills considered standard that a Facilities Manager should possess Minimum Soft Skills Qualifications Eagerness to engage in a growing, fast paced, and industry-leading companyConsistently treats others with dignity and respectGenuinely serves others with humility and a positive attitudeFrequently demonstrates a bias toward actionAlways communicates effectively and courteously to establish strong networks internally and externally to ensure that decisions are thoughtful of all stakeholdersFollows policies and procedures while seeking out new and better ways of accomplishing dutiesShows resolve and overcomes difficulties in a positive and productive mannerProvides responsive service to our teammates and membersContinuously puts forth the extra effort to accomplish dutiesDevelop sound conclusions and makes decisions based on analysis of data and understanding of the businessWorks to build high performing teams while taking an interest in teammates professional developmentOrganize, plan and manage teammates and processes efficientlyUnfailing commitment to continuous learning and growthActs with integrity and is open to feedback from all teammatesWillingly coaches teammates through change and leads all situations with positivity The Company Safe Harbor Marinas provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applications for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability or genetics.
