Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finish Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, with expertise in trim work, flooring installation, and fixture installation. This role requires precision and an eye for detail to ensure high-quality finishes on various projects. The Finish Carpenter will work collaboratively with other tradespeople to deliver exceptional results on residential and commercial properties. Duties Execute trim carpentry tasks, including the installation of moldings, baseboards, and casings. Perform flooring installation using various materials such as hardwood, laminate, or tile. Utilize power tools effectively and safely to complete carpentry tasks. Fabricate custom wood pieces according to project specifications and schematics. Install fixtures such as cabinets, countertops, and shelving units with precision. Collaborate with other trades, including masonry and plastering teams, to ensure cohesive project completion. Lay tile for flooring or wall applications as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Skills Proficiency in trim carpentry techniques and practices. Experience in flooring installation across different materials. Strong knowledge of power tools and their safe operation. Ability to read and interpret schematics for accurate fabrication and installation. Familiarity with masonry work is a plus. Competence in fixture installation with attention to detail. Skills in plastering or drywall finishing are advantageous. Experience in tile laying for both aesthetic appeal and functionality.
