$30 to $35+ per hour (Based on experience).

Mandatory Licences & Certifications:
Valid Driver's License. The Opportunity You will serve as a critical field leader, driving the successful execution of large-scale commercial interior build-outs and specialized carpentry projects. This role allows you to showcase your quality craftsmanship while working on a variety of meaningful commercial projects for a company that values your individual contribution. You will have the autonomy to perform high-level installations and the support of a leadership team that knows you by name. How You Will Make an Impact Perform complex metal stud framing, wood framing, and advanced acoustical ceiling system installations. Manage the daily execution of field work including commercial doors, frames, hardware, blocking, and backing in strict accordance with project plans and safety protocols. Coordinate daily activities with Lead Carpenters and Project Teams to maintain strict project timelines and budgets. Maintain accurate documentation of layouts and measurements while identifying field issues to ensure project transparency. Resolve real-time structural, drywall, and finish carpentry challenges on-site to prevent project delays or safety hazards. Act as the primary field representative for the company values of accountability, teamwork, safety, and pride. Required Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 3 years of experience specifically within the commercial carpentry field. Proven ability to execute metal stud framing, acoustical ceilings, and commercial interiors with minimal oversight. Proficiency in reading and interpreting detailed project drawings, blueprints, and layouts. Absolute willingness to travel to various project assignments across the Metro Detroit region as required by the business. Strong communication and organizational skills necessary for managing field tools, material preparation, and team dynamics. Physical capacity to lift 50+ pounds regularly and work comfortably on ladders, lifts, and active construction sites. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Completion of OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification or equivalent technical safety training. Demonstrated experience in finish carpentry or working on commercial tenant improvements, retail, office, healthcare, or institutional projects. Advanced knowledge of independent layout execution and potential for mentoring junior team members in a field environment.
