Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter Foreman to oversee and coordinate framing projects, primarily focusing on steel stud framing. This role involves hands-on leadership, blueprint reading, and ensuring the successful execution of projects. The ideal candidate will have the potential to advance into a foreman position and will be valued for their expertise, reliability, and leadership abilities. The position offers top-tier pay, with potential company vehicle access and company-provided clothing. Responsibilities Lead and supervise framing crews on construction sites, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to high-quality standards. Read and interpret blueprints accurately to guide framing activities and ensure project specifications are met. Perform steel stud framing tasks as required, demonstrating technical proficiency and attention to detail. Assign tasks to team members, and monitor progress to meet project deadlines. Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and promoting best practices among team members. Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members to ensure smooth workflow and resolve issues promptly. Assist in training new team members and mentoring junior staff to develop skills and improve team performance. Potentially take on additional responsibilities that could lead to a foreman role within the company. Qualifications Proven experience in steel stud framing or related carpentry fields. Strong blueprint reading skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately. Leadership qualities with the potential for advancement into a foreman position. Ability to start work at 6am, maintaining punctuality and reliability. Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in construction environments. Reliable transportation or willingness to use a company vehicle if provided. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced construction setting. Pay:
$35.00 - $55.00 per hour
