Position Overview We are seeking skilled carpenters to join our growing team. This role involves working on a wide range of commercial construction projects, performing tasks that require precision, craftsmanship, and problem-solving ability. We're looking for a true "jack-of-all-trades" —someone who can adapt to different tasks, bring versatility to the jobsite, and take pride in delivering quality results across multiple aspects of construction. Responsibilities
- Perform rough and finish carpentry work for commercial projects and/or residential projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood, metal studs, and other building materials
- Operate a variety of tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Take on a variety of tasks with flexibility and initiative
- Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and crew members to ensure timely project completion
- Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and industry standards Qualifications
- Proven experience as a carpenter in commercial construction
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Must have a reliable vehicle, preferably a truck
- Flexibility to work either 4 x 10-hour shifts or 5 x 8-hour shifts depending on project needs
- Occasional travel may be required depending on project location
- Must be able to pass a background check
- OSHA training or safety certifications a plus Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive pay: $30 - $40/hour depending on experience and skill level
