Job Description
- Job Title: Carpenter
- Job Description
- As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for removing old or damaged windows and preparing openings for new installations.
You will install various types of windows, including vinyl, wood, aluminum, and specialty products, ensuring they are properly fitted and sealed to prevent air or water infiltration. Your role will involve measuring, cutting, and assembling materials such as trim, shims, insulation, and framing components. You will operate power tools, hand tools, ladders, and other equipment safely and efficiently, while maintaining quality and compliance with building standards. Effective communication with customers regarding installation details and care instructions is essential.
- Responsibilities
- + Remove old or damaged windows and prepare openings for new installations.
+ Install various types of windows, including vinyl, wood, aluminum, and specialty products.
+ Measure and cut materials such as trim, shims, insulation, and framing components to ensure a proper fit.
+ Seal, caulk, and weatherproof window installations to prevent air or water infiltration.
+ Operate power tools, hand tools, ladders, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
+ Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with building standards.
+ Communicate professionally with customers regarding installation details, timelines, and care instructions.
+ Maintain a clean and safe work environment at job sites and in company vehicles.
+ Troubleshoot installation issues and make necessary adjustments.
+ Follow all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Essential Skills
- + Construction experience + Carpentry skills + Window installation expertise + Ability to perform detailed installations + Proficiency in cutting and trimming + Capability to work on team-performed projects + Experience with framing, hand tools, finish work, roofing, concrete, and power tools + Ability to exceed customer expectations

- + Not afraid of heights + Comfortable working outdoors + Previous experience in construction, outdoor work, or as a farm hand

- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $20.
00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
