  • Full-time, Contract Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finish Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team.
In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise finish carpentry work that enhances the aesthetic and functional quality of residential, commercial, and restoration projects. Your expertise will ensure that all interior and exterior finishes meet high standards of craftsmanship, safety, and durability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from framing to detailed trim work, contributing to the transformation of spaces with craftsmanship and care. Responsibilities Measure, cut, assemble, and install interior and exterior finish carpentry components such as trim, molding, cabinetry, doors, windows, and siding. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Prepare surfaces by performing tasks such as plastering, drywall installation, or water damage restoration before finishing. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks including framing, metal stud installation, and rebar placement. Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure seamless coordination on site. Conduct quality inspections to verify that all finished work aligns with design plans and safety standards. Assist in remodeling projects by installing flooring, tile, fixtures, or cabinetry while adhering to project timelines. Requirements Proven experience in finish carpentry within construction or restoration industries. Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings. Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels; power tools including drills and sanders; CNC machinery is a plus. Familiarity with various construction techniques including framing (wooden or metal), stucco application, roofing, masonry, and siding installation. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on demanding construction sites. Experience with water damage restoration, mold remediation or structural repairs is advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in finishing work like caulking, plastering, fixture installation, door hanging, and cabinetry setup. Valid experience in working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocols; certification in OSHA standards is preferred.
