Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Carpenter/Laborer and be a vital part of transforming residential and commercial spaces! This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from framing and drywall installation to finishing touches like trim and fixture installation. Duties Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines safely and efficiently to cut, shape, and assemble materials. Perform framing, metal stud framing, siding, roofing, stucco, and drywall installation with attention to detail. Install fixtures such as cabinets, doors, flooring, trim, water damage restoration components, and other residential carpentry elements. Assist with rebar installation, plastering, caulking, mold remediation, and water damage restoration tasks as needed. Conduct heavy lifting safely while adhering to power tool safety standards; manage construction site cleanup and material handling. Support fabrication activities including working with wood construction materials and interpreting technical drawings for custom projects. Qualifications Prior construction experience or a strong desire to learn carpentry skills in residential or restoration industries Proficiency with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, woodworking machines, and metal stud framing equipment. Familiarity with construction site safety protocols including power tool safety practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required on active job sites. Experience with fixture installation, flooring installation, siding, roofing, stucco or restoration work is a plus. Handyman experience or background in mold remediation and water damage restoration is advantageous but not required.
