Job Summary:
As a Carpenter, you will play a vital role in the ongoing construction, repair, and maintenance of our hotel facilities. Your skilled expertise will be essential in ensuring our properties remain in top condition and continue to deliver the exceptional experiences our guests expect.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of carpentry tasks, including framing, drywall installation, trim work, and furniture assembly
- Maintain and repair existing structures, fixtures, and furniture within our hotel properties
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to identify and address issues in a timely manner
- Adhere to all safety protocols and building codes to ensure a safe work environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Carpenter or in a similar skilled trade role
- Proficiency in the use of power tools, hand tools, and construction equipment
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Working Conditions:
This position may involve working in various hotel environments, including guest rooms, public areas, and maintenance facilities. The work can be physically demanding, with the need to lift heavy materials and equipment. A flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, may be required to accommodate the needs of our guests.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive hourly pay rate of $22
- 25/hr as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
